Liz Rosenberg is an associate professor of literature and creative writing at the State University of New York at Binghamton. She has published more than a dozen popular picture books for children, and four prize-winning anthologies of poetry for young readers, including Light-Gathering Poems (Henry Holt), which won the 2001 Lee Bennett Hopkins Award. She lives with her husband and son in Binghamton, New York.
