Freddie Jones is a British character actor who started his acting career midlife by attending the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in Kent, England and going on to act with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He tends to play eccentric characters and is a regular in David Lynch s film, appearing in" The Elephant Man, Dune, Wild at Heart, " and "Hotel Room". He currently appears on the long-running British soap opera "Emmerdale" as Sandy Thomas.
