William Sutherland was born in New York City, NY. He graduated Mamaroneck High School, Mamaroneck, NY and received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Iona College, New Rochelle, NY.
Mr. Sutherland is a lifetime Distinguished Member of the International Society of Poets and was inducted into the International Poetry Hall of Fame in 1997.
