Karen Blumenthal is the acclaimed author of many nonfiction books for young people. Among other honors, she is the winner of the Jane Addams Children's Book Award, the recipient of a Sibert Honor, and a three-time finalist for the YALSA Excellence in Nonfiction for Young Adults award.
