I’m so impressed with the detailed practical instructions in this book. It is obvious that the writer has dealt with these issues on a personal level, which makes it more encouraging for me. I too have struggled and continue to struggle to learn ways to improve myself so I can live the life God intended for me to live. Joyce Meyers has had a huge impact on my life by her books n tapes n actually physically calling me out of a crowd of 10,000 people in Tacoma Wa years ago. Joyce Meyers listened to Gods voice tell her of a young women struggling for years from a serious alcohol addiction! I knew it was me so I walked down to her from the nose bled section lol and yup I was the only person to walk down there out of ALL THOSE PEOPLE! Immediately when she said it…I KNEW she was talking to me! It WAS GOD! The minute she started to pray God took over n I was no longer there but with HIM! I remember hearing her but hearing an being with Him and listening to Him tell me how much He loved me and well let’s just say I have never been the same! So Joyce Meyers will always have a special place in my heart; her ministry has been under so many attacks but it’s testimonies like mine that make me know she is the real deal! Not perfect but a flawed vessel that shines even brighter because of the cracks! As do I , I am starting to see, through the years of abuse and trauma that I’ve endured I have none the less ENDURED! I’m still here! That’s not NOTHING! God can shine and get even more colorful lights through all the tiny lil cracks and even the huge jagged ones! At times I sit and marvel at the ways he even replaces the pieces I thought so shattered that they couldn’t possibly be useful again, He is so VERY GOOD! I’m thankful for your book and your perseverance and obedience to go through your own struggles to get to a place of healing so that you could then turn around and reach out your hand to lift up those of us still struggling. This book was very informative and practical…not easy to hear about yourself cause let’s face it that’s why we are listening but valuable to the person looking to journey to healing! Thank you for sharing your experience and research with us Jeanette!
