Unabridged Audiobook
I love Drew Barrymore, so it was neat that she was narrating it. I liked hearing about her life. The only thing I didn't like was when she screamed from time to time.
The book itself wasn't bad but this is one where the narrator kind of ruins it. Drew Barrymore was pretty over the top (which at first I thought I would like) but going from a whisper, that I can barely hear while commuting, to loud wails and screams, is not very comfortable to listen to. So. Much. Screaming. As she would say: "WHYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!"
Drew has great energy and is someone her daughters should be proud of. Her journey is remarkable and the book is well worth your time. She does raise her voice from time to time, which I found endearing.
Rarely do I not finish a book, but this one was easy to put down unfinished.
This was good. it's kind of all over the place. Drew screams often and I find it annoying.
Honestly I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. Legitimately wept more times than I can count. What a beautiful and inspiring story.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! it was extra special listening to Drew read her own book. you could hear her emotions and smile through her voice. her personality is just so warm and I love her energy. I will be buying it for my friends!
Fun to hear the story. Looking forward to her next book
Amazing book!
