Unabridged Audiobook
This is an awful book. I find it hard to believe it was written by a woman. All the sex scenes are actually rape scenes, there is nothing romantic or sexy about rape. The lead character is the most unrealistic I have ever read, and this is nothing to do with the time period in which it is set. The storyline is ludicrous.
Fun regency romance romp. Looking forward to to reading the next. Narrator was excellent.
Unfortunately this is a DNF for me
Very poor writing style and not believable as historical romance.
Loved it could not stop
I really enjoyed this book, No. 1 in the League of Rogues series. A terrific story somewhere between bodice ripping and erotic, the characters were vibrant and the story solid enough to keeping you wanting to know what happens next. I’m now looking forward to uncovering the story’s of the rest of the league’s gentleman.
loved the story line so much
Good plot and well narrated
Awesome plot, well developed characters and the narrator was just amazing! I will be reading the rest of this series by Lauren Smith and looking for more after that.
So the hero had a good reason for kidnapping the heroine. Perhaps he and his friends could have shared a bit more. The kidnapping just infuriated me. The hero and one of his friends were big sexual harassers. But they are rogues after all (eye roll). When the heroine comes down for breakfast and was asked how she slept. I wish she had said “good - though laudanum being forced down your throat tends to ensure a person sleeps. I love my romances and I am almost always forgiving of a hero’s faults. I just couldn’t do it this time.
This was one of my most favorite books...
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Well narrated too.
I never could get in to this book. I found it rather boring, sorry.
