Unabridged Audiobook
I loved this book though I may be biased. I survived two open cranial surgeries in one year for 3 aneurysms. One at each temple and one between the hemispheres. I wanted to understand their perspectives and it was an eye opener. I learned much more about the approach to such surgeries and how they affect the doctor doing them. I came away with a much clearer understanding of how they view death despite their best efforts. The brain is an amazing organ and its resilience is amazing. Well worth a listen!
Neurosurgery in a nutshell. Very well written, touches many subjects concerning human life, ethics and behavior
The book describes the thoughts of a brain surgeon with a compassion heart.
Loved the book. Great mix of informative but captivating. This was my first audiobook and I am worried now no other book will be quite as good. Narrator was easy to understand and had a very “not annoying” voice haha
