I thoroughly enjoyed this book, not only from the standpoint of the intended content (divorce) but also that the concepts and examples are transcend divorce and can be applied to behaviors and emotions resulting from other loss.
I was overwhelmed with the understanding that divorce isn't a very good thing for children to go through. it seems as though their needs become secondary in the family when their parents divorce. I think it creates anxiety for both children and parents because of the roles become part time. I also believe parents works against one another to a certain degree while coming parenting. This book revealed reality vs. the unfortunate fantasy that most spouses have when filing for divorce.
