Three Sisters, Three Queens

Loved it! Very informative and entertaining

Not a good read - another vain, jealous, mean spirited woman of the Tudor court.

Second read and I’m not sure how I got through it the first time. Could there be a more shallow, selfish , and disgustingly nasty princess? She’s her brother Henry Tudor with teets. She revels in the tragedy of others and I can’t even continue listening to this anymore. I love PG’s books but this one is my least favourite.

I did not enjoy this one and really wish that Gregory had given it a skip. The stories of these sisters has been told much better, by other writers, and this is a long, dreary slog. I've been a fan of Gregory in the past but she really missed the mark on this one. Narration on all her books is excellent, Bianco Amato is perfectly matched to these historical romances, but even she can't save Gregory's horrible writing here.

Enjoy historical novels and this is right on the list of great reads. Margaret is portrayed as somewhat bitter and self centered. Perhaps a trait of the times and the author does explain some of her portrayal in the prologue. The narrator was excellent

Philipa Gregory brilliantly juxtaposed known facts with logically derived potentially fictional elements, as always.

I loved it. I listen to my books when I am driving. Wanted to take more long trips! Great book and narrator!

Great story! Catherine of Aragon was portrayed as an old hag.

So enjoyable. This novel is rich in historical detail and beautifully crafted where historical details are unknown. While I'm very familiar with Tudor history, I never knew much at all about Margaret so really enjoyed how the author filled in all the blanks about her. The reader was also wonderful and very skilled.

I love her novels and renditions. It makes me more interested in history.

This was a lovely book but it seems the tracks were mixed up. Like the previous reader I felt the book came to a very abrupt end in the middle of a thought. I think the recording should be evaluated by audiobooks. I did not find much help after reporting this to the customer service line. All the recordings are beautifully read by Bianca Amato.

I have read other books by this author. They are well researched and interesting. I had a little trouble following as I sometimes fall asleep listening. It seemed to come to a rather abrupt ending, which was disappointing after so many hours of listening. The narration was excellent. She had different voices for so many of the characters. I'm impressed that anyone can do that!
