Unabridged Audiobook
Top read and audiobook! Sometimes my favorite man and sometimes my least. This biography touches , with great research, on both sides we love and hate,,,and the neurotic sides of this man. One of a kind
I found "Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power" to be excellent. The requisite research through at least hundreds of letters of correspondence with other founders is amazing. The book filled in many blanks for me that I had in my knowledge of a tremendous man and writer of the Declaration of Independence. I heartily recommend it to any US History buffs, and will do the same for members of my family.
Very impressive display of the work of a truly fascinating man. It was an excellent read!
Well rounded snapshot of Jefferson's life. No glorification or oversimplification here. This book focuses more on his line of thinking and how it was shape by his environment and time period.
Very informative and insightful look into the life of a Great American. This insight Shows the life of a flawed but brilliant man who set the direction for our country. Meacham's account seems fair showing both Jeffersons genius as well as his hypocrisy.
