Unabridged Audiobook
Awesome listen to, real, life-affirming. Thank you Sean! Listening to your book is like putting glasses on for the first time. Everything comes into full view. Perspective changes immediately. I have already sent this book to a friend as a gift.
Sean has taken the entire corpus of manosphere-acquired wisdom and compiled it into a concise, well-written, and relevant literature review. I listened to the book in a 7 days time frame and was riveted to the content and made numerous highlights and underlines on greater than half of its pages. This reviewer is in his mid-fifties and has had a life experience that concurs with Sean observations and suggestions, making this book a collection of phenomenological facts that are universal across cultures, and time, whether backward or forwards. There is no misogyny in these pages, nor is there any hint of black-pill histrionics. The corpus of this work is carefully crafted to not offend but report the facts, hard-won facts that came about on the battlefield of life. Good job Sean. I look forward to listening to the audiobook version of Supreme Alpha Male Bible.
I'll keep this simple since I am not a professional book reviewer. This book is like sitting down and talking with Sean Wayne. If it doesn't a plant the seed of change in you mind and water that b* tch with some truth, I don't know what to tell you. This is so genuine, inspirational, and life-changing.
This tell-it-like-it-is, eye-opening book has changed how I see myself. I realize that I'm not even mediocre! I am simply an underachiever, pretty much a loser. Growing up, all I did was cry and moan about my circumstances for years, playing the victim, hoping someone would save me. I trudged through a foggy maze, not knowing where I was going and barely knowing where I was coming from. It wasn't until later on in life, In my 40s, that I began to pick myself up by the seat of my pants and realized that no one was coming to save me. No one was going to magically make me OK. Not even God. I knew there was work I was gonna have to put in. But even then I wanted to take shortcuts. I wanted things to move fast and easily. It wasn't until these last few months that I realized that I would have to earn my way through life. No shortcuts! Sean's book yanked my mind out of the mud it was trudging in and made me look at myself in a new way. I've got a lot of work ahead of me. No matter how old I am, it doesn't stop me from being responsible for myself and turning my life around and facing those challenges that inevitably loom before me. I'm rolling up my sleeves and I'm going in — not elbow-deep — but all the way in! It's not going to be pretty, but I'm tired of getting in my own way. Time to get it-get it! Thanks, Sean!
This book contains a treasure trove of useful, practical information on several levels. Much of the information is easy to digest but harder to implement. (Let's face it, nothing good is easy, including becoming the best version of yourself). Many people may use this book as a roadmap to help steer clear of potential minefields in life. If you steer clear of just one bad life decision because of the contents contained in this book, the book has paid for itself 100 times over (or potentially much more). In my opinion, one major value in listening to this book (especially for younger guys) is to take the information presented and use it to live your best life. This book gives ambitious guys the benefit of someone else's experience and wisdom. Overall, the many key takeaways will not help you UNLESS you implement them into your life and incorporate the concepts contained in the book into your belief system. There is no magic pill and listening to alone is worthless UNLESS YOU ACT. The book is honest and straightforward. Buy it. Digest it. Share it. Properly implemented, the book could change the trajectory of your life.
Achieving your goals get to personal growth requires well-coincided steps along with your own determination. Great for bringing positive changes to life and how to achieve long-term goals. Often we set goals but make mistakes in carrying out certain steps, here we find the answers to our mistakes. The advice this book gives is really valuable, with a little attention it can really solve some good problems for you and help you change direction completely. I found this book structured in a clear and fluent way gives us great tips to work on ourselves. A beautiful journey that deserves to be listen to and re-listen to.
I'll keep this short and simple... this book will not give you motivation... It will instead give you the tools to change your life once and for all. It's so powerful I purchased the hard copy and the audiobook. Extra note: the audiobook comes with lots of great bonus material in every chapter.... it's worth getting, even if you have a hard copy. Buy it, listen to it, listen to it, share it... change your life.
This book is different than the generic self-help books that we have all listened to. Sean didn't just regurgitate what everyone else said about self-improvement. He invented his own methods through trial and error. He is also not afraid to tap into something that our society has just about eliminated, negative reinforcement. My self-improvement journey was always hindered by too much positive reinforcement throughout my life. There is a place for this, but sometimes you just have to look in the mirror and call yourself out with honesty; Sean literally does this daily.
The Book is absolutely Phenomenal and a Great listen to, creates and stirs courage in me where I never knew I had any, and has certainly enticed me to want better and to be better for myself and within myself when faced with looking back at the mediocre days when I just didn't have the spirit to do anything and without hesitation after listening to this book, hell, going forward is a no brainer, and the drive I have developed caused me to realize, I was only being what I thought was good for me, except it was for everyone else and I never benefitted. I am aware and determined to achieve what I want in life, every opportunity, every relationship, every woman, everything is possible for me and now I have the knowledge that I can do it great!
I am very career-oriented and in the "uncommon" majority at an executive level in a retail organization. I am also young and not "hardened" mentally for some of the battles in the workplace. I thought I was, but not feeling it lately due to my own head ;). From a fitness perspective, I started to hit it hard 1 yr ago because I was ~40lbs to heavy and not working on myself. In the past year, I've gone from 216 to 180. I am in a mental rut and searching for the extra push needed to get backgrounded and better than ever. Heading into this book and listening to each page was like, "what could he do next? And how?". Listen to this in 6 days on a much-needed mental vaca (usually listen to 1-2 books a quarter). My workouts were pumped and led to faster 5k miles each day ( not a distance runner, or even a 1mi runner, I usually make sprints. I ran 5k's every day this trip). His concepts had me going and digging deep. I'm setting up a whole new pain tolerance and mental resilience following this book.
