Unabridged Audiobook
Great story. With interesting characters. Gail
it was a very good book. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
A cute and quick read.
It is like a cupcake. Predictable and in that way slightly disappointing as it is just cake with a lot of icing that makes it look more exotic than it is but satisfying nevertheless.Du nu contradiction in the novel; the main character praises small town life for its friendliness and neighbours still looking out for eachother while almost all the characters in the book are the opposite as in quick to believe the worst of each other, gossip, put someone else in the frame etc. all of this without irony. The narrator did her job. The Canadian setting was somehow missing in her rendition.
Cute story. I listen going to sleep and the narrators voice was anoying.
I couldn’t finish. Narrator voice so monotone
I thought the writing to be immature. The narrative was stiff, scripted and cold. I do not recommend this book.
a very enjoyable little story. well written
Good to listen to. Narrators voice was excellent.
I had a hard time staying connected to the story and found myself jumping ahead to the next chapter. I think I might need more meat to keep me intent on listening. This may be more of a critique of my listening ability than the book’s problem
This was honestly so terrible, if I hadn't been in the middle of an 8 hour drive, I would have deleted it within the first 3 minutes. I'm pretty sure the author was paid by the word, so she uses a lot of them, most of them redundant and a few incorrectly. Listen at your own peril.
Couldn’t get into this book. Listening was hard not interesting at all.
Typical rom com book. Easy listening but not much of a story
