Unabridged Audiobook
Best book of the trilogy. Really hope we can see thrawn on the big screen!
amazing!!!
Great book wish we could make Disney make this cannon
Decent story. Thrawn continues to be one of my fav characters in the Star Wars universe. As with the two previous books, the narration is spot on. If you've liked the two previous books, you'll love this one.
great book and narrator.
Well-written, as with all of Timothy Zahn's "Thrawn" work. The character of an intellectual Commander is one STARWARS imperial worth cheering for as he and his team define their own terms and parameters in both the battlespace and the political arena. An excellent look at what could be truly great about the Galactic Empire.
Marc Thompson's read is great as always. Unfortunately, this book is such a slog. Guys, I just don't get it. Thrawn is at his best when he's a dastardly villain. In this trilogy, there are no protagonists for Thrawn to menace. Again, he doesn't have the commanding presence he had in the novels from the early 90s. He's a whispy-voiced bore who practically narrates half the book himself with his cold observations. Perhaps the biggest eyeroll I gave this book and the one before it is when it establishes that Thrawn's iconic Marg Sable Manoeuvre, which he first uses in Heir to the Empire, was created by Asoka Tano.
fantastic through the whole thing.
10/10. 5 outta 5 meow meow beans for Marc Thompson. He is my favorite narrator.
