Enjoyed the story very much.
I liked this story quite a bit...even more so as secrets were unveiled near the end. BUT, the constant reference to the damned curse was beyond irritating to me! Especially for the cousins in their twenties. There was a good deal of solid information that could have left the "curse" and the belief in it in generations past as incentive for the deeper familial relationship challenges but to have these two young women discussing it ad nauseum fell quite a bit short for me. A bit less of that and a bit more of the grandmothers' decisions and how that complicated numerous relationships would have elevated this book enormously for me.
I really enjoyed this book. Great storytelling by the author and by the narrators!
I loved this book! Loved the setting and all the characters. It was a great story which I didn’t want to end.
