I found I didn't care what happened. The characters had no depth and the plot was far-fetched. A treasure hidden in the middle of the ocean by a submarine with a virus loose on board? Clues hidden on plates in the walls of the sub? A scientist dismantelling the submarine at the dock for a museum and finding the code to be in an obscure language only a handful of people know? ... it went on like this, getting more and more difficult to believe. A waste of time.

Enjoyable and fast moving. Well read. The topic is contemporary. the characters are well developed. One of those books you sit in the driveway to finish a chapter.
