Unabridged Audiobook
I have a confession to make. When selecting a new audiobook, I won’t countenance anything short as I see it as poor value for money. A happy side effect of this miserliness, though, is trying books I might not otherwise select. The Revolution of Marina M. is a case in point. Starting as the story of a privileged teenager, it provides a glimpse into the everyday reality of the Russian revolution. I really got swept up Marina’s story, and was sorry it ended.
This is a magical book. It's absolutely fascinating! Yelena, the narrator, makes you slip in into Marina's world.
