Unabridged Audiobook
I think every lover of books has a go-to author. While that writer is still writing you wait for the release date, get the book in your hands and say, "I know what I'm doing all day today." For the last two days, I listened to Carl Hiassen's Razor Girl with John Rubinstein narrating. You never know where Carl will take you, never. I loved it. If you are a fan, grab it.
Just accidentally fell into this listen and WHAT A HOOT!! Is it normal that I would love to have a beer with Merry – like Merry Christmas - the somehow lovable, bikini-area shaving, ram-rodding, con woman? This is just a hilarious romp through Key West. When the book opens with a homophobic rant on Duvall Street – you know things are going to go sideways. I can't count how many times I literally laughed out loud! I’m going to spend much more time with Hiaasen, and I can’t wait!
Mr. Hiassen seems to have gotten back to telling the kind of stories we love to "read". Really enjoyed that he has come back to Key West again.. Thanks, Carl.
In true Carl Hiassen fashion. A mix of dark sardonic humor. I always enjoyed his coloums, so I understand his writing.
Hilarious! This is just what my commute needed
In typical Hiaasen fashion this book had me laughing out loud
This book was extremely funny. I loved it. It was an accident that I bought it. I thought whatever, may as well listen. What a wonderful mistake:)
