Unabridged Audiobook
I loved this story. I thought it was well thought out, and although a little slow at times, kept my interest. Early on, I found one of the characters particularly irritating, but then once I realized the reasoning behind her personality, I gained a large appreciation for the authors way of thinking. I also wasn’t found of all the narrators- it felt like some didn’t match their characters. I have a feeling this would be a book that would read on paper as a 5/5, but the audiobook version is a 4/5.
Horrible!!! Like watching paint dry.
I did not buy the narrators male pretend Voice.
Well developed characters. Story kept me interested. Well written.
As this book has several narrators, the two stars are for the voice actress playing Emily. The character is annoying to begin with and her narration just makes it worse. There's a comedian, Iliza Schlesinger, who had a short-lived skit show. It it there was a crazy old sea captain called Cashew Albacore. This voice actress's male voices remind me of him. At least it makes me laugh.
Loved the book. Well written. Suspenseful! Great characters!
