I am genuinely terrified of this short story and it’s so rare for me to be scared of books or movies! It’s probably because of the audiobook experience too, it was brilliant, all those sounds and creepy music in it was amazing. It was such a powerful little tale that all started with a quiet boy. The story was dark, atmospheric, creepy and extremely well written. I need more of it but also it ended perfectly. I hope the movie that based on this is going to be amazing as well, after this I’m really excited to watch it! I highly recommend reading this short story if you want to be truly terrified, it definitely just became my new favorite short story ever!

This was a great way to spend an hour except for the ending. I don't need an HEA, but I like a sense of satisfaction. The narrator, however, was exceptional. Too many narrators over act and are a distraction rather than a foil. The reader should make the story shine by being quietly brilliant and Frankie nails it. She has a new fan on me.

Sorry but I feel I have wasted an hour of my life. Nothing noteworthy. Typical horror story which gives one the impression it was written by an anspiring high school writer.
