Unabridged Audiobook
This is a good book about a great American hero and his struggle with PTSD for the rest of his life after the war. His accomplishments on and off the battle field were remarkable. If you want to know more about the man, the war hero, the actor, the song writer this is the book for you. Also if you or someone you know is struggling with PTSD this book will help you to understand you (they) are not alone. Our society owes it to the returning men and women of the Military and our Police and Fire Fighters who are battling with PTSD to support them and provide the necessary medical treatments to help them.
Great book on how Murphy became well known and the consistent struggle he had with PTSD. The personal funny quotes of his reactions to events like ‘I can’t make believe worth a zinc cent’ added fun humor throughout the book.
