Unabridged Audiobook
I did not like the reader. Why after every chapter did he have to say who, what, and where for?
Well narrated and the pace was well judged. Of the two, Oscar and Frank, it is difficult to discern which had the greater ego.
An interesting book written by a " friend " at the time. The author was very self interested and obviously thought himself better than Oscar Wild . I really liked this narration though
Interesting book, well narrated.
Well this was a pleasant surprise! Beautifully read! And it’s given me such an interest in Oscar Wilde and his work. Thank you Mr Geeson for giving me a greater understanding.
I can’t get over how well written the book is and how beautifully the narration was done. It’s remarkable that the book isn’t better known. Frank Harris writes with great depth and understanding and Martin Geesons’ narration is lyrical.
What an account. a first hand account of Mr Wilde with such detail and such extravagant language, well read to the point that I've adopted the narrator's voice when quoting Wilde! In the time of lockdown this is a great read!
