Summary
In her twenties, Emma Blair marries her high school sweetheart, Jesse. They built a life for themselves, far away from the expectations of their parents and the people of their hometown. They travel the world together, living life to the fullest. On their first wedding anniversary, Jesse is on a helicopter over the Pacific when it goes missing. Just like that, Jesse is gone forever. Emma quits her job and moves home in an effort to put her life back together. Years later, now in her thirties, Emma runs into an old friend, Sam, and finds herself falling in love again. When Emma and Sam get engaged, it feels like Emma's second chance at happiness. That is, until Jesse is found. He's alive, and he's been trying all these years to come home to her.

I find Emma to be an extremely annoying character. The situation she is in is a tough one but I still don’t find myself rooting for her because of how insufferable she is.

I liked this way more than I thought I would.

I loved the book, I just didn't like the voice the narrator used for the men.

Taylor Jenkins Reid never disappoints. One True Loves is a great book and I hated every second I had to put it down. It has everything I love in books like this. The drama makes sense and there’s communication because the characters feel real and actually seem to like one another. ‘One True Loves’ is a heartbreaking in the best way. It’s about moving on in several different ways and finding love in different ways. I loved it.

Soooo good! I really enjoyed this story. The narration was good and it was a good mixture of humor, tragedy and feel good story. Highly recommend!

Not a bad read. Liked it more than I thought. It gave an insight on how a person can grow and mature. I actually had no idea how this was going to end.

This was a very fun book to listen to while trying to zone out the world. I highly recommend it.

Started out strong and it slowly got boring, repetitive, and anticlimactic.

Way to cheesy. So tired of her going on about her love then her more love …. Not enough meat in the story

I loved the story lines and the characters, but there is a very long section that is written in 3rd person. I just about gave up on the book thinking it would never end. The main character goes on and on and on about herself as though she is talking about someone else. The rest of the book is great!

Predictable and very cliche. This listen was like a Hallmark card come to life.

Not quite as good as other TJR books. It’s a little predictable. But, I liked it and the narrator is amazing.

Emma is in a tough spot, but I find her a little irritating. The story seems to drag on for way too long towards the end.

This isn’t like the more modern publishings of TJR but it’s still a great romance novel. Heavily predictable but still some great and insightful writing about feelings and the complexity of love. I’d definitely recommend this for a lighter/quick read!
