Unabridged Audiobook
This is a very short story almost seems like it should be the first chapter of a book but it was a good enough story. However, the narrator was terrible in my opinion. If this was a movie she would be the worst over actor ever. And why is a British actress narrating a story that took place in Atlanta?
absolutely brilliant book, and superbly narrated. highly recommended if you enjoy a thrilling whodunit... thanks Paula H x
quite nice discovering an early John Milton.
This seems very much like a small portion of a book and not a short story. It jumped around a bit and wasn't fulfilling. Quite disappointing.
Good story. Really draws you in.
It was an interesting incert
Well done, love the narrator her use of emotions is perfectly on point !
it was ok for a 20 min listen
Not a fan. Left too many unanswered questions.
Black pierce will forever stay one of my favourites this was an amazing book like all the other he writes love you and love this book
Absolutely no story. What was the mystery? Narration is dreadful.
excellent short story
Excellently written short story!
I really enjoyed this short story. Suspenseful
Even for being a short story, it didn't feel like there was a conclusion. However it does make me want to listen to more, so kudos for reeling me in.
Good scene setter.
I was not happy with the 1st book „Once Gone“ because I usually do not read or listen to books about torchered, silly women, getting themselves into trouble because they run off without backup. Still, I am happy that I listened to this short story, because it seemed that the woman did have some insight into her foolishness. Still, this genre is not for, however well written and well narrated. The narration was clear and well pronounced.
great story,l enjoyed it.
I couldn’t get past the idea that she is speaking to a room of FBI recruits, and is quoting the infamous “”abyss” statement, and they all are shocked by it. The talk of a serial killer they don’t know?? Give me a break. Any first year psych student has heard that ... or ever watch a crime show on tv??? If they are THAT far into this career in law enforcement, they aren’t anything like they were described.
