Of Wolves and Witches is the first book in the Arcane Arts Academy and it was fantastic! If you love magic and shifters then this series is for you. Elena captivates our attention right from the beginning and keeps you in suspense until the very last page. This is a well written, fast paced story. I would recommend this story to anyone who loves slow burn reverse harem books. I can’t wait to listen to more about Harper and her men.
This story will grab you and not let you . Love how Elena Lawson drops you into a word filled with mystery , murder, fated mates and there are so many levels . Heroine is Harper, Hero is Ellis plus her 2 wolf mates Adrian and Cal . Harper doesn’t know how powerful a witch she is. She gets a glimpse of her power during a fair in New Orleans when she causes a rift on the road chasing a thief . She’s sent to court for Witches and from there to Arcane Art Academy the prestigious school for witches. There is a reason why she is sent there . It has to do with her power , who her father was , and they want her dead because of her father and what he wanted to do . The power to be wants to know how much she knows . While there she finds 2 of her mates , in the story they are called Familiar, but it’s one and the same . Stephanie rose the narrators was great . Love how she did the characters, the tone and her voice is strong, clear and smooth
