=== WARNINGS: ===

Reader Discretion Is Advised!

Mature content: adult language, graphic (sometimes twisted) sex, gore and violence.

This is book one of the Paladin Cycle series. These ARE NOT stand alone books.

“I loved it! I know, it gets a little rough and rowdy sometimes, but that just adds to the overall feeling of the story. I'm a grandmother and I'm looking forward to reading the next book to find out what happens!”

“I went into this listen after having read/listen to a lengthy list of either light-hearted or YA books for the past few months. Number of the Beast reminded me that I do enjoy purely adult fiction.

That is what this is, adult and dark and disturbing. I was disturbed in ways I haven’t been since opening my very first Stephen King back in high school. If that is what you are looking for, please pick this up. Good writing is getting hard to find.”

“If you like your reading to be a maze of action, adventure, violence, sensuality, romance, politics, intrigue and maybe even a little social commentary, this book is probably for you.”

'. . . adult and dark and disturbing.'

'An exciting and riveting page turner that has everything magic, paladins, love, sex, mythical beasts, and a whole realm of gods & demigoddesses.'

'This book was phenomenal. I couldn't put it down!'

Beware The Awful Beast that is Paladin Cycle. This book is not for children in fact if you have children and are listening to this book within earshot of them then you deserve to be beheaded (and possibly your children should be killed too because they'll never get the awful crazy sick disturbing disgusting rancid evil demonic madness out of their heads and therapy is waaaay too expensive) The only thing this book does well is make perverted people feel normal about their perverted selves and that is not something tht I can condone. Perverted sick people do not deserve the pleasure of listening to anything as vile and attrocious as this (my cat Freya recently jummped onto my keyboard and broke my exclamation key but for the record I would place several, maybe waaaay too many, exclamation points after each of my honest-to-God albeit self-righteous declarations; I will use a capital 'F" to play the part of the exclamation mark from hereon) This book is sickFFF I do not often listen to these sorts of foul things being that am nun and a grandma from Utah but after listening to this ungodly production (ungodly is an understatementFFF I had to change my holy underwear four times -- twice during that most horrendous scene where the vile beast is having his way (in the Bibiblical sense) with that poor misfortunate spirit whom he keeps as a servant. Why the only good and honest God-fearing character in this book is that nice young woman Wavery who upholds the neighborhood commiteeFFF If you ask me these 'authors' should've been writing about her because I believe in my heart that she's the only good Christian womann in this entire story Worse part yet? You can listen to the rest of the story for free on other platforms especialoly this one which seems to be a popular place for these heathens https://castbox.fm/channel/Paladin-Cycle,-A-Cosmic-Horror-Audio-Drama-id1044369?country=us --Ruth Anne

A very fun story telling. It's like listening to a movie, it has sound effects and background music to really set the theme. The narrator is fantastic a great voice with very distinctive character changes. The story is great too.

Crazy stuff going on here! Loved the sound effects at first but then I found them distracting near the end. The main dude Shane was really annoying by the end. I need time to digest this before trying the next one.
