Summary
For fans of Paula Hawkins, Ruth Ware and Lisa Scottoline comes a new thriller from best-selling author of "Girl on a Train", "Dark Place to Hide" and "The Evil Beneath".

She was your best friend. Now she’s your deadliest enemy – and there’s nowhere to run…

When Alice receives an invitation from Karen, her charismatic University friend, to stay in a remote cottage in Scotland, she can’t wait to rekindle their lost friendship. But two more former students arrive – never friends of Alice’s – and as the atmosphere chills, Karen isn’t the warm-hearted soulmate Alice remembers. Barely is the reunion underway before someone is dead and the fragile gathering is pushed to breaking point.

As the snow cuts them off from civilization and accusations fly, Alice finds herself a pawn, sinking deeper into a deadly game she can’t escape.

NO LONGER SAFE is a chilling psychological thriller that delivers a delicious sting in the tail.

I thought the book was going to be a good mystery at first. But It was a big disappointment. The characters weren't very likable and the ending ruined the whole book for me. Looking back I really didn't enjoy this book at all.

A little slow to start, but afterwards I enjoyed the build up and the twist at the end! Truly enjoyed the narrator too.

A slow start. Too many characters some of which I thought unnecessary. A surprise ending which disappointed me.

I like the narrator. she has a good pace and excellent accents. BUT, the story is slow-paced, and I quite know how it will end. Would give it 2 stars.Beat to read the Count of Monte Christo and the Scarlet Pimpernel for real"page turners."

The narration was great, the book was just okay. It lacks that big "ah-ha" moment that you wait for in a mystery. Aside from Alice, the characters were poorly developed and their story lines were absurd. The plot also made zero sense to me.

I liked the book immensely. It was interesting to have the different characters narrating the events from their point of view. It was sad, Intriguing, descriptive and a story you don't want to stop experiencing.

A riveting tale, full of twists and turns. Just when you think you've got it figured out, the author flips it on you. Excellent narration too!
