I really love this series. I have been listening to all of the books and up until now I loved how Kimberly read them. This one was read to slow and ridiculously over the top with the emotions. It made me regret buying the book. Not sure what changed but she should go back to how she read all the other books.

Action packed. couldn't put it down

First of all, I saw some reviews claiming that the narrator wasn’t as good in this book. I disagree. I think Kimberley Alexis brings Anita Blake to life in each book. As far as Narcissus In Chains goes, I was not a fan. I love this series for the suspense, the humor, the well- developed characters. When the books move towards erotica, it’s not what I’m looking for. I know some people enjoy that genre, but these started out without it, and I wish the author would cut back on that. To me, it’s cringy and weird. And not in a good way. I’ll be taking a break from Anita for a while.

love this series with this narrator but the next couple books are narrated by someone else and she is not as good. I have almost listened to the whole series.
