I Really enjoyed this title! It was an option provided to me through the V.I.P selection, very glad I chose it, a thrilling story made evermore awesome by the Narrator. A+

A little hard to follow with the amount of characters and when the final killer was found out, I didn’t remember him

Great book. Story line was very good. Kept me interested from page one. The Narrator was excellent. Already listening to the second book in the series. I'm a fan for sure!

Good story with plenty of atmosphere. Although very much a slow burner with good twists, none better than the draw dropping ended. However the book was brought to life by the fantastic narration

Enjoyed the story. Would not say that it was a page turner. For me it started with more promise and had some good parts. Some things happened that seemed on impulse without being developed in the plot or the characters. It was ok and will probably read more in the series but not in a hurry

I gave it three stars because parts were predictable. Sometimes the pacing was slow and the attempt at relationships between characters felt contrived.

Very good book. I just settled with the narrator swallowing after every sentence. Once I heard him I couldn’t un hear him. But a really brilliant story with great twists.

This book I found an easy listen. Not the most amazing story I ever herd but still a good listen.

I like the atmosphere of this book, plot twists and main heroes. Dynamic beginning and main part, but the ending is smeared and boring.

I enjoyed this book very much & will be reading more Max Wolfe stories. There were plenty of twists & turns in the plot which changed my mind about “who done it” several times. I also enjoyed Colin Mace’s narration with the voice he gave to Max & the different voices to the other characters. Already recommended the book to my husband who reads a lot of similar books. This one has quality in both the writing & the narrating.

Great story. Neither detective nor pepetrator are superheroes. So I enjoy believable story with some surprise twists. The biggest surprise was that such a good book was in a "VIP" selection where books are mediocre at best.

I totally loved the story about DC Max Wolfe. Not only was his dedication to solve the murder cases described in a highly believable way, but the glimpses of his private life was both endearing and truly brought the character to life. This was my first Tony Parsons, but assuredly not my last.

Without a doubt my favorite author, character and series in this genre. Listened to all the books in this series in succession and was not disappointed with any. Murder Bag is my personal favorite but all are great reads! Impatiently waiting for more!!

The story was very well written with more emotion and nuance than the average mystery. The narrator was excellent and even made the book more captivating and enjoyable.

I liked it. It was well written and keeps your attention. Colin Mace's accent put me off at first, then I found it worked very well with the story. I enjoyed it and would definately listen to another book narrated by him.
