In the ongoing saga of the Zombie Rules series, Zach, his family and friends are lured from their home in Tennessee and relocate to a post-apocalyptic bunker known as Mount Weather, nestled in rural Virginia. They have been promised a better life by none other than the President himself. Zach's apparent immunity to the zombie virus may hold the key to creating a vaccine and securing a future for the human race. Life at Mount Weather is indeed a significant improvement from their former life, but it is not without its dark side, and Zach finds himself having to make a difficult choice.

Another fantastic book! It is an exciting series to read. The characters feel like family and with every twist and turn is an exotic album rollercoaster!! The Narrator does an awesome job distinguishing between each character!

I learned about Mount Weather (the place) from the TV series The 400 and hoped David Achord's "Mount Weather" was post-apocalyptic. Better yet--it was a zombie book! My first viewing zombie series was ZNation, and Zombie Rules is my zombie reading series. Although Mount Weather is the fifth in the series, it works as a stand-alone book. There are a lot of characters to remember, but eventually, I caught on. I couldn't stop listening. I put aside what I planned to do to listen to this book. It was a satisfying read. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Book 5. What can I say? More Zs! True to style the author pulls every third punch. However, i hate this narrator like a honey mustard stain on a leatherbound gem off the top shelf. How dare you bring honey mustard to a Z party! 1 star.

I loved this book. I love the narrator - the way he modulates his voice for every character is fantastic . I feel it is less detailed than the last book, but it is still very good. I like the twists (not each one, but...). The story is very good and the character's growths is visible... can't wait to listen to the next one!
