Unabridged Audiobook
For me, personally,it was a hard read. So I had to listen. It was for a bookclub I belong to and it just really didn't grip me and hold me enthralled.
I enjoyed listening to this book.
Lovely book about family dynamics and life. Nothing riveting but I enjoyed it for an easy listen.
Got through it quickly. A great read about family, relationships, and the complicated webs of life.

The Most Touching Family Novel I Ever Read.
The narrator does a fine enough job. I didn't care for the story. It's a very quiet book. Sometimes I can abide a quiet book if the language sings and there's a poetry to the story. Not the case here. By chapter 11 I realized nothing had happened. Yes, the child given up for adoption had come onto the scene, but I found the story of this family in their everyday lives to be abysmally boring.
Loved it. Completely different than how I was raised but I loved the love they demonstrated. A great read.
One of the best books I’ve listened to this year. The way the author dives into each character, how they feel, what they recognize in themselves and others...it’s THE book for moms, daughters, sisters...family. I’m so sad it’s over
