Brilliant Book and very well told

The book is a classic, and the narrator is great. What a gift to be able to listen to this for free!

Narration very good, story line ok

Quite enjoyable

The book was as charming as I remembered. The narrator was absolutely brilliant. My only complaint was that I had to reduce her talking speed a notch, but then it was perfect. The way she handled the different characters voices was admirable. Highly recommend.

Not my favorite book, definitely not the best Austen book, but Karen Savage is an amazing narrator. Very talented

I loved the narrator. I listened at 1.25 speed and still heard all the nuances. I have read and listened to Mansfield Park before and she was my favorite narrator. I will be searching for other works she narrates.

I found the reader read too fast for the complexity of the sentence structure. As a result the emphasis on words was often not as intended by the author. I’m aware the reader is American but some words were wrongly pronounced eg mama. Bearing in mind that Jane Austen is regarded as a major English author these errors were disappointing.

Good narration - later chapters done at a bit of a gallop - good clarity - enjoyable listen.
