Unabridged Audiobook
Good story but I would like kiran culken would read all the books
Magnus Chase was a great book that was funny and really clever.
I enjoyed the story and the characters. As an adult I wish the characters were read in a manner consistent with their ages, but I also understand the book wasn't written for adults.
Its a great book with all of the familiar feel of his other series. I really like the narration as well. He reminds me a bit of Percy but that's a good thing.
Good story line. A bit for the younger teen reader but still interesting for an adult listener. The narrator spoke too slowly at times and did a novice job trying to change voices especially when voicing a “god” but again not too annoying to the point I would not listen again. Overall entertaining and fun and I will listen to book two.
I enjoyed the book very much. I am not as familiar with Norse mythology so at times I felt lost. I was pretty disappointed with the narration. Very monotone and no real character differentiation. I REALLY loved Jesse Bernstein and Joshua Swanson. They are very gifted in that area.
The sword of summer is so much better than I thought
Awesome book, amazing story, fantastic twists in Norse mythology. I'm not a big fan of the narrator at all, unfortunately. I did find his voice was a little bit better if you increase the play speed a bit.
Judith Roth lies. Judith is a sucker.
Honestly love this book and love how the different characters interact with each other
This really is an awesome book, and the narrator is also pretty nice
the narrator has a very wide voice range
I was a good book. I would listen to it again
entertaining but a tad predictable and lost some of its dinstinctivness from other fantasy type series when it went full on sorcery.
