Lost Gods: A Novel

The characters and world are so captivating and will have you hooked immediately. definitely recommend this one, as it's an instant favourite!

this was a great book, I absolutly love his other stories even more like Krampus and The Child Thief. They are amazing stories told the way I believe everything should be told... honestly. Hope he comes out with another soon.

This one hurts, but hurts so good. Absolutely Epic. Heart wrenching, painful, hopeful, and blissfull all in one. Bray does an incredible job with the narration and character voicings as well. It only took an hour for me to realise this is going to be one of the great books I've read. I wasn't misled. Loaded with twists and turns, the dark cooridors of purgatory never came to life in such a magnificent way. This is an author whom I'll be buying physical copies and reading his books with my eyes next time. I didn't want it to end.

Was a great book, thoroughly enjoyed it! Good mixture of sci-fi and real world. Enjoyed the material on the "Old Gods" and had many twists in the story.

Wonderful descent into a world that shouldn't seem real yet manages to do so, whilst retaining many loved elements of this genre of writing. This was my first of Brom's reads, and whilst I have started a few others, cannot get into them like Lost Gods. Other reviewers have started the human characters are a bit flat - whilst this is mostly true, the interactions between them and the vivid reality of the Gods and other creatures allow you to not care about this small fact. Listening to the story allows you to create the world instantly for yourself, whilst keeping an eye on Brom's beautiful drawings. If you want a bit of non-reality, get into this!
