Leviathan Wakes

Still one of my favorites.

Absolutely loved this book. Characters are well written and evolve throughout the timeline. Packed with action and mystery, and, very clever and interesting understanding of space mechanics, this book had me hooked and at the edge of my seat. One of the greatest stories I’ve read. Highly recommend!

Great audiobook

It's great, one of the best sci fi series.

Great book! The story is very interesting and the narrator is great. Someone need to tell the author Marines are NOT soldiers, Army are soldiers, Marines are Marines!

An incredible space opera. I wish more sci fi was this well written and deeply impactful. Each character was fleshed out perfectly. This book will live long in my memory. 5/5

This just wasn’t my cup of tea. I just wasn’t interested. Didn’t like the way the story line was going. I’m not saying it’s a bad nook. Several people recommended it. Spoke very highly about it.

After watching the first five dried of the series I decided I had to read the books. This is first book in the "Expanse" series. It is fascinating. James Corey weaves a story that is so believable. We had a 20 hour trip and never wanted to turn the book off. The narrator did an amazing job giving each character easily recognized. Highly recommend.

Wonderful book. I’ve watched the tv series up to season 5 so knew what to expect but cherished the differences and greater depth of the book. As with nearly every review, I agree the science is spot on. Has made me research into some of the science and astronomy which itself has been a fun and revealing exercise. The narration is great too. Honestly, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this book. I’m a scientist (specialist doctor) so really appreciate when authors get the science right; kudos to the two authors and their own research - wish there were more like you out there. Already got stuck into book 2!
