I got this book on kindle 4 years ago and it was a massive turning point for me during a difficult pregnancy where my Stuff felt like a huge burden. I discovered Marie Kondo a couple of years later but have recently been thinking of Francine's work and pondering on why her title was less praised than MK. I was thrilled to find The Joy of Less now on audio and treasured revisiting the philosophy. It's so close to MK but less Magic hoo woo and more practical cause and effect (but not entirely devoid of the spirituality which is living with Enough). This book would be the Best Buy for anyone with freaky feelings about Marie Kondo, my daughter prefers it by far, but will get anyone off to a flying start. The narration is clean and easy to listen to so happy all round.

well written and well narrated. If you've never read anything about minimalism or decluttering then this book might be the one and only you need. Otherwise, it was nothing new.
