I Follow You

This was my first book by Peter James and it most certainly will not be my last. Great story that (like others) I simply could not put down. I have listened to five audio books as of late and none of the narrators compares to Justin Avoth. He is utterly outstanding with each & every voice required. In the future, stall look for books narrated by Justin.

The ending was not as tight as the book in general. Still, a good listen.

The ending was ok for me but getting there was a little tedious. I fell asleep a couple of times and fast-forwarded through parts and still didn't feel like I missed anything.

It wasn't to bad for my first audiobook. Dragged on at the end.

A real thriller!

Great and very gripping read. I’m really glad that I chose to listen to this one. It was a real treat that was full of a great cast and many surprises!

wow. this was a freebie book,and they can go either way. It was riveting, and disturbing. I loved it, will look for more by this author.

The narrator was outstanding, the story not so much. A good villain needs depth, and something that makes the reader feel something for him. All I felt was dislike, and amazement that Marcus was a doctor with a normal life. Then out of the blue, bam—and he completely turns into a psychopath. Just didn’t buy it.

This book was a great read! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time!

The best book yet

Although I thought the ending was predictable, I didn't feel let-down or dispirited. It certainly was not predictable along the way! I was rapt and on the edge of my seat - especially once the circumstances monumental narcissist Marcus Valentine set into motion started clicking into place. I literally exclaimed out loud "HURRY UP" countless times. I have not read or listened to any Peter James books before, but will certainly seek out more, and the narrator was just fantastic. Capturing moods and dispositions with the tiniest change in inflection, tone and volume. I did have to suspend some belief in the medical shenanigans (I certainly hope it isn't that easy for a mad physician to do the things Valentine did), as I did choose to read a work of fiction. Regardless, I really hate Marcus Valentine - with an intensity I haven't felt about a character in a while!

I’ve read the Peter James series featuring the police detective, Roy Grace and I’ve really enjoyed them. Peter James has great character development,as well several story lines, within each book. I was a little hesitant to step out of my comfort zone , afraid to be disappointed by a new genre I was not disappointed. This book, “I Will Follow you” was well written,great character development ,as well as being very suspenseful. After this experience I will definitely read the other books written by this very talented author.

It was good and creepy at the same time. Not really a listen before bed type. I will look for other books by this author.

Not what I was expecting from this author

This book had me on the edge until the very end. Excellent!
