Interesting autobiographical tales from Louisa M Alcott about her time nursing soldiers in the American Civil War. She sounds just like Jo from “Little Women”. The narrator is male but has a high enough pitched voice to sound female so to me it sounded just as I imagine tomboy Jo would sound.
