Awesome! I didn’t expect much from this book however I was sucked in fairly quickly and loved every minute of this book. I was hoping there were more books but sad to say not yet. Bottom like; it was an awesome book and totally enjoyable. Both the book and the narrator were top notch.

I really hope no one is fooled and mistakenly buys this looking for the REAL Harry Potter books. Ridiculous fanfic. No one who understands Hogwarts in the slightest would allow a muggle in Slytherin.

The book itself was a basic fanfic. Somewhat crudely written and more comical than a serious read. The narrator himself was good using emphasis and voice changes where necessary. I would certainly recommend the narrator although I would not personally read from this author again.
I absolutely enjoyed this new telling of the Harry Potter story. The author worked hard to try to make things line up with the original story. Ever wonder what happens when you aren't with the famous trio? Listen to this story to hear a great different perspective of what could have taken place if things were a little different in the Potter world. Thank you for the fun listen!

Really entertaining. Hogwarts from the point of view of a Slytherin, that too an American boy portrayed interestingly. Narrator using different sounds and tones for various characters adds to the fun.

An interesting take on the original story, yet it allows both to run in parallel.
I am not a Harry Potter nerd but I have watched the movies. This is a successful attempt to poke fun at the franchise. The story was fun to listen to. The light hearted tongue and cheek characters had me smiling and paying attention. Thank you for making this free.

Really witty version of the second Harry Potter story, a great parody. The names used (like dumble-snore) made me laugh. A nice easy listen for any HP fan who doesn’t mind someone poking a bit of fun at hogwarts.
Awefull, I had to stop after Chapter 3. I love parodies but this was more like listening to a reading of a journal and not a story.

I did not enjoy this! I hoped it would be pretty much the same as Harry potter and it wasn't
I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did. It was even clever at parts with funny off-hand references to situations from the book or even specific scenes from the movie, and the humor never felt forced. It's a great homage, and doesn't usurp the original storyline but rather coexists with it, just one of the many students never explicitly mentioned in the original book. The narrator did a great job at mimicking voices of some of the actors from the movie as well. Definitely worth a listen, especially as a Potter head since you will appreciate the situational references more.

Despite the funny renames of the main characters like harry and Hermione the author did a really great job of writing the story as kindof a companion story or side story to the original Chamber of secrets.

I liked the narrator and the story. I wish there were more in his series but understand why there aren’t. It’s very well written. Not really a parody but a super fun story nonetheless. The first chapters almost turned me off, but give it a chance. If you aren’t familiar with JK Rowling’s book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets then this story will not make much sense.

A simple parody reminiscent of Mad Comics movie send-ups though it also tries to parallel Mark Twain’s travelogues. An American muggle shows up at Hogwarts as a new student and gets the premise overexplained. The absurdity of Rowling’s invented world is an easy mark for parody. Unfortunately there’s no additional humor or really any added entertainment value.
Big Potterhead. Absolutely lived this book! Highly recommended. I wish it was a whole series.

A succession of random events. A humor, if there is one, completely devoid of intelligence. The only positive thing about it is that it makes you realize how good the originals are.
