This book definitely lived up to all the great reviews! Far from predictable…keeps you engaged and guessing all the way to the end!

One of the best audiobooks I've purchased this year. I loved the Narrator and the plot. Hoping there are future books with this protagonist as well! Highly enjoyable read.

Story line a little farfetched from the real world, but nice escapism. I don't think it's right to glamorize her choices of a life of deceiving people.

Good story, some twists

Great story and narrator.

I don't understand all the positive revews about this book. The story was underwhelming and the characters were unlikeable. There wasn't much character development to make the plot twist interesting and/or surprising. And, were we supposed to feel sorry for the main character b/c she grew up in a trailer and her "mama" died when she was an adult? Is this supposed to justify her choice in life and make us root for her? I would have preferred if the author didn't try to gain sympathy for her and was more blunt about the terrible person she is (and if the story was more interesting).

this was my first audio book. I enjoyed the story. The "male" voice was annoying as it's a female altering to sound like a male.
