Deception

I really love this series and can’t help but want to dive into each and not shut them off! I have found that this is definitely a series I don’t want to listen to right before bed due to how much it keeps my attention and mind working! The case(s) for this might be some of my favorites with several tricky aspects that get your mind contemplating ethics and morals that Rivka and the gang have chart the course for! It was fun getting to see the crew as they are able to do something they really couldn’t before… split up/delegate specific tasks that lead to separate Star systems. There is also the aspect of watching not only the “meat bags” of the crew developing as characters and people, but also the members of the Singularity. I love seeing the new sides of Ankh (technically a meat bag but he doesn’t really think like one most of the time, let’s face it…) and Erasmis. Then you have the SI (way better than AI) who are being trained to hopefully become Magistrates themselves. So there are the difficulties of having been logic based and needing to be able to some what comprehend the illogical “meat bags.” Man, I LOVE this series!!! Martelle is a phenomenal thriller storyteller! And Cannon is a terrific narrator! I can’t imagine the characters with any other voice than the one the narrator gave them. With the only exception being when characters from other series makes an appearance such as the Waltons, Bad Company characters, Nathan’s family, etc…!
