Summary
Don’t miss book three in the #1 New York Times bestselling Maze Runner series, now a major motion picture starring Dylan O’Brien!

WICKED has taken everything from Thomas: his life, his memories, and now his only friends—the Gladers. But it’s finally over. The trials are complete, after one final test.

What WICKED doesn’t know is that Thomas remembers far more than they think. And it’s enough to prove that he can’t believe a word of what they say.

Thomas beat the Maze. He survived the Scorch. He’ll risk anything to save his friends. But the truth might be what ends it all.

The time for lies is over.

The first two books, The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials, are also #1 worldwide blockbuster movies featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O'Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster!

Also look for The Fever Code, the much-buzzed-about series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built, and James Dashner's other bestselling series, the Mortality Doctrine: The Eye of Minds, The Rule of Thoughts, and The Game of Lives.

I didn't intend to listen to James Dashner's Death Cure in one day. Mark Deakins gave a smooth narration. The book had a normal "false start" before it hooked me and would not let me go. It was riveting. In "Death Cure" Thomas was older and was put in the real world, or was he? It seemed as if Thomas had to work for WICKED because one of his friends would be hurt if he didn't. Sound familiar? Once again there was the theme of competition between teams which was obvious at times and not at all at others. I was not sure of how things were going to finish until the last word.

This was a great finale to the previous books, but it was dragged out a little too long. Overall, the plot was decent and I was satisfied with the fate of the characters, I will definitely be looking into the prequel book Dashner wrote.

I like this final book of all the rest of the other two in this trilogy. Curious Thomas, the cat that got away and didn't die. Poor Teresa. WICKED is good.

What an AWESOME series!!! Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time! Wish Dashner would write a 4th installment to show how life after WICKED is!! Mark Deakins did a fantastic job narrating!
