Unabridged Audiobook
Storyline sounded interesting, but I couldn't get past the narrator. I can't figure out whether it was her English accent or the non-English accent that did it, but it just rubbed me the wrong way.
Great narration but would not recommend. It says it’s book one and can be read without reading previous books but I don’t agree. So many references to previous events was aggravating. Plus why would anyone give the love interest any consideration. He had no qualities that made him appealing . I don’t mind some arrogance but he was just plain narcissistic and judgmental. I want to feel like this is someone I would want in my life ... but I never felt that way.
