Unabridged Audiobook
Having lost my mother recently, this story really resonated with me. Loved the complicated story of a mother and her daughter intertwined with her descriptions of food and it’s importance in her life.
This book is for everyone, but especially if you have a good, or even troubled, mother daughter relationship. I couldn’t wait to get back to this book. I cried with the author. I felt her story telling was perfect and so relatable and human…and I spent many hours thinking about my own relationship with my mother. It also made me want all the Korean food she described so beautifully. Brava
beautifully written and narrated

I relate to this book heavily. Great read!
Heart wrenching and important story, beautifully narrated by the author herself. My mother is still living and I am so inspired to heal our relationship before it's too late.
It has been a few months since i listened to this book, i still find myself thinking about Michelle and how she is doing.
