Summary
In this "tense" thriller and #1 New York Times bestseller, Detective Harry Bosch teams up with Lincoln Lawyer Mickey Haller to track down a killer who just might find them first (Wall Street Journal).

Detective Harry Bosch has retired from the LAPD, but his half-brother, defense attorney Mickey Haller, needs his help. The murder rap against his client seems ironclad, but Mickey is sure it's a setup. Though it goes against all his instincts, Bosch takes the case. With the secret help of his former LAPD partner Lucia Soto, he turns the investigation inside the police department. But as Bosch gets closer to discovering the truth, he makes himself a target.

Titus is the best narrator. His narration of dialogue is great. hate it when a male narrator tries to do women’s voices instead of just reading it.

Love how Bosch follows the evidence and does not start with a conclusion and then tries to make the evidence fit . . . amazing that he is able to prove that a man was framed with DNA evidence!! Loved it!! Titus is the BEST Bosch voice, can't listen to anyone else. Can you re-record other Michael Connelly books with Titus as Bosch??? Thanks

Love Harry and Mickey together. Loved the book and the narrator. If I am not mistaken the narrator Titus Welliver is also who plays the character on the amazon series. Love. Love...,

Overall great book and excellent narrator. Titus is really good at foreign accents.. also love every book where Bosch and Mickey Haller cross paths. One thing I just didn't like was part of the story being narrated from the perspective of the villain, not a big deal though.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Titus Welliver does a near perfect Harry Bosch, and his version of the Russian-accented bad guys works too. It is great to see Harry adapt to new technology (cell phone app, for example), but still be the persistent dog on a bone. His putting off opening the envelope was, I admit, driving me crazy. But let me not spoil it. Overall, excellent work, keep it up!

My husband and I watch the Bosch series on television and this audio book narrated by the actor who plays Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) really added to listening pleasure.

Book liberally uses the concept of crossing, including Mickey Haller and Harry Bosch joining forces to free an innocent man while Harry diligently hunts down the real killer. Very good characterizations and insights into both protagonists.

I was really looking forward to see what happened at the end but it will not play the last 30ish minutes of the book. It says it's playing but nothing! Ugg!

Mr. Connelly always gives me just what I need. He is unquestionably the best cop book story teller going. Cannot wait until next time!
