A nice story.

Although this will never be my favorite book, it wasn't too bad. The author erred on the side of caution in telling this story. If she would have taken more risks and more details and time into the "exciting" parts of the book, it would have been better in my opinion. There should also have been more interaction between the three of them once they found each other not just the two main characters. More time with two main characters developing an 'adult' relationship should also have been done. It is worth your time to read/listen to this book. The beginning was done very well.

I rarely rate a book this low. It was such a waist of time. I played it 2x the speed. Everything is very repetitive and very predictive. Maybe suitable for teens, but I doubt it. The narrator was very good :)

Story was just ok, nothing exciting about the story and too much detail in the sex parts, and the ending felt like the author was iffy at best. Narrator did a good job, though; she’s the only reason I pushed through. Otherwise, I’d have quit the book around the first few chapters.

Ten years ago, a seventeen-year-old Lily Dumont faked her own death to escape an uncle who wanted her inheritance, leaving her old life-and love, behind . . . but Lily never forgot Ty Benson. This blurb was enough for me to pick up this book. I love sassy romances with a hint of maturity and load and loads of love. Cross my heart is once such story. The narrator of the book narrates with such deep and intense emotions that one cannot help but fall in love with the story. It's as if the scenes are happening just around you, and if you turned around, you could see Lily rampaging through her adventurous life . I loved this book a lot and would recommend it to others as well.

An easy listen - thought it was all a bit predictable.
