Unabridged Audiobook
Poor narration
Very monotonous not a lot of point to the story
Very reminiscent of Jane Austin with the humor and the social mores. Loved it. And no, there's not much of a plot. It's more of a collection of stories from a mid-19th century English village that is inhabited mostly by elderly women. The first-person narrator is a younger woman with a funny, but loving, take on events. I think the audiobook narrator is pretty good for LibriVox, no complaints there.
I really enjoyed this book.kind of silly, sad and head swimming sometimes.
It was not my favorite of books. Seemed to lack much of a focus or real storyline.
