Summary
On the darkest night, the stars still shine.

Feyre’s first Winter Solstice as High Lady is drawing near. With it will come a hardearned rest from the work that she, Rhysand and their friends have done to rebuild the Night Court and the vastly changed world beyond. Yet the festive
atmosphere can’t keep shadows from looming.

Even as her own heart heals, she finds that those dearest to her have wounds that go deeper than she knew. And the scars of the past will touch her court in times to come.

I guess this is an in-between book — there wasn’t any action. This book could have been shortened and woven into a future book with more action.

I liked it, mainly bc I'm attached to the story after the first 3 books. It was nice to get a little inside the heads of several characters. Definitively looking forward to book 4

Love this series so far. But this could have been condensed and put in an epilogue.

This book is unlike the others but still an interesting read. You really get to know the characters throughout this book which I enjoyed. Not as much action, but maybe a break in the story was necessary. Excited for the next.

After reading the reviews and understanding this book was written in a different style and was an “in between” character growing book, I really liked it. I’m glad I was aware before hand and knew what to expect in a way.

Kinda a nothing book, just a Christmas story, like a straight to TV sequence. Can’t decide if I love or hate the narrators who’s English accent sounds like Moira Roese

I’m genuinely in LOVE with this entire series but this is the one book in the series I don’t really think about. It didn’t evoke a ton of emotion and was a slow read.

There wasn’t a lot of conflict in this book. At least not in the big battle sense of conflict. Felt like reading about a Christmas holiday. Some details that could be important setup for the next book. The Nesta chapter was insightful, but so short I found it to be a let down. I kept getting confused going from the different point of views. The narrator was really good at the different voices.

I definitely liked how quick it was to get through. It was nice to have a shorter book before another long one. Excited to listen to the next one.

I loved it, it was the ending to the first 3 I had hoped for and such a good bridge to the next book.

not as good as the others in the series but entertaining

Sarah J Mass is so good and these are absolutely not teen books.

I feel like this book was just a filler book. No point to the story.

highly disappointed in this book. The narrator wasn't that good either although the entire series was about 3.8 stars.

I give this book and narration a zero. So cringe on both accounts. The writing in general was bad, but the sex scenes were so unbearable and the narration made worse! Had to quit and make my own ending! Sad.

Not bad, but you definitely have to know the rest of the books to appreciate this one!

The only 3 in the series were amazing! This was an ok wrap up but I’m sure hoping for a 5th book that answers some lingering questions!
