Unabridged Audiobook
Continuing the series. This one was a difficult read. It was hard to get through after what happened at the end of Beck’s story. I was honestly wondering where the author was going to go with this book, but it was a perfect direction. Dealing with loss effects everyone differently and picking up the pieces just as hard as dealing with the loss. It was good to know that Chelcie was there to help Asher come out of his darkness. Though, I have to say that moment at the end, where we ended up in the same place we were at in the last book at the end.
This is a hot, intense story with an edge to it. The narrators blend together perfectly.
loved this book
The love story seemed rushed. Getting from point A to B for them was unclear. He went from man whore to overly devoted in a chapter. Why does he refer to his own brother as Cooper, when they share the same last name ? Not as good as the first 3, but it’s good to still know what the other characters have been up to. Same nasally male narrator.
I liked this book which was very well performed by the narrators. Favourite characters from previous books feature in, and add to this story. There was good character development of the principal characters and you got to see a more rounded view of previously two dimensional characters. An enjoyable story, well performed
