Unabridged Audiobook
I love Phillipa Gregory's books, but don't care for the Unabridged audio versions of them'
I rated this a 2 simply because the abridged version had too many holes and ended extremely abruptly after having skipped over 30+ years without explaining what had happened during that time! I'm sure the full novel is much better.
as always a well told story encompassing true life events. Philippa Gregory may take some liberties but it always adds to the story. I only wish I had heard the unabridged version as there were a few unanswered questions. The ending was a bit of a let down but then again I'm sure Catalina felt the same.
I love her books! I've read most of them -this was the first one I listened to and enjoyed it.
I truly loved this book, the narrator takes you back in time with a pleasing voice, and with the authors gifted words.
